- 1 hour of total photography coverage to capture the moment you propose to your special person, including a mini photo session afterwards!
- 25+ edited, high quality, and high res images delivered digitally.
- Delivery of images within 2 weeks during peak wedding season (May - Sep) and 1 week off-peak.
- Any location in the HRM. Travel may apply 30 minutes outside of the Halifax/Dartmouth area.
- Optionally, you can add audio+video coverage of your moment, a drone video, additional photography coverage afterwards, or all of the above!
If your date is available, we'll meet in person or on a video call to discuss when, where, and how you plan to propose!
I will capture the moment from a distance while you pop the question, and then we'll spend some time together capturing your joy in a mini photoshoot.
If you choose to add audio+video, I'll supply you with a small microphone to hide under a shirt, and capture the moment on video as well.
If you choose to add drone coverage, I'll use a drone to capture some footage of you two, as well as a flyover of the area.
Video will be delivered within 4 weeks during peak wedding season and 1 week off peak.

My name's John and I love to take photos!
I’ve been taking photos for 8+ years now, with a focus on couples and wedding photography.
When I'm not hard at work taking and editing photos and videos, you'll find me spending quality time with my partner and two cats, where we'll take turns watching sports, comedy, live music,
and the occasional soap opera (looking at you, Grey's Anatomy)
I dedicate time to work on my photo and video skills regularly, always trying to find new ideas and methods to capture some real magic for the couples I work with.
I began learning photography with the help of one of my best friends, taking my first photos of our puppy Lola. I started volunteering for a dog rescue not long after.
With rescues and foster puppies, I learned to be calm and patient, taking my time to build and establish trust, careful not to stress out the fosters but always ready to capture a quick perfect moment that could be lost forever.
Around the same time, I began bartending and occasionally managing in a local pub.
Not only did I learn just how much I love acts of service and working in a fast-paced environment, but I also met the couple that hired me for my first wedding!
They stressed how much they wanted their big day to be relaxed and low-key, but for all of their joyful moments to be captured intentionally.
I realized I had just the experience and mindset to not only capture their wedding, but many more to come.
Moving to Halifax in 2021 I brought my focus onto the east coast, discovering a beautiful backdrop for my wedding photography. I still travel back and forth frequently to see friends, family and clients alike, but after meeting my partner I've also discovered a new home with her right here.
I always strive to provide a sense of professionalism and confidence in my photo shoots, from the smallest elopement, all the way up to the largest multi day wedding.
I always try and provide a patient and laid back atmosphere, letting you show off your best self in a comfortable and trusting environment.
I love capturing candid and un-posed moments, but for those couples that haven't been in front of a camera before ("I don't know what to do with my hands!")
I can also guide and pose you into a moment that brings out the magic of your love.
Whether it's on your big day, or just when you might want an excuse to dress up with your family, partner, or pet, I won't miss any of it.
